	Owners, Barry and Alice Hanson, began Lakota Scientific Inc. over twenty years ago to provide friends with a reasonably priced, high quality water filter. Word of mouth spread and their business quickly expanded to include customers across the U.S., many of whom have been with them for over ten years. Although the Hansons recently moved to New Hampshire, they still maintain their solar and wind operated facility in Northern Wisconsin.
